I've become a bit of a concert slut lately hitting one show after another.
The latest was this last Tuesday at the same spot as the Shiny Toy Guns show. I was there to see The Start though I'd heard some Front Line Assembly as well and I wasn't disappointed by either. There's something about seeing bands in an intimate setting like that, especially if it's a high energy act. I'm definitely spoiled forever against stadium shows.
After The Start's set I went to the t-shirt stand and Amy was there. I had her sign my shirt and she asked my name and gave me a hug. So gorgeous.
Aside from the music I also watched a DVD on American Indian DNA vs. The Book of Mormon. It was mostly information I'd already read but hearing Southerton and the others pound the point home makes me wonder how anyone can still believe Indians are descendants of Lamanites.
My therapist also suggested I watch What The Bleep Do We Know to go along with the red dot method he taught last week. Some of the quantum science seems pretty out there to me but I got quite a bit of insight about auto-emotional response and retraining neural pathways. I've seen a tiny bit of this in myself and I hope to continue re-wiring aspects of myself to be more to my liking.
